MKC Launches Superkart Lineup
Melbourne Kart Centre is pleased to announce the launch of Melbourne Superkart Centre! MKC are expanding their range of karts and parts to include Superkarting products and are building a new Superkarting section within the existing Melbourne Kart Centre shop. As part of the expansion we will also be stocking the Anderson line of Superkarts, which are highly competitive in the 250cc classes. MKC has been appointed as an Anderson distributor by the chassis’ importer RMR Superkarts, who have a wealth of experience with Superkart racing.
Melbourne Superkart Centre will be stocking everything needed to go Superkart racing including 125 Rotax Max non-gearbox karts, 125cc gearbox karts, 250cc National karts and 250cc Twin karts, which have performance to rival a V8 Supercar. Our Superkart parts range will include 6 inch wheels and tyres, which are used on the 250cc karts, chains and sprockets for gearbox karts, Anderson kart spares, Superkart bodywork including front nosecones for 125 Max karts and much more!
“Whilst we are still focused heavily on sprint kart racing, we felt that moving into Superkarts was a natural progression for a large kart shop like MKC. We recently test drove a 250cc National kart and it was simply awesome to drive. That made up our minds that Superkarting was something we had to get involved in” said MKC Race Director Roger Polak. “And we’ve already had really good interest from our customers who are also keen to give this a whirl”
Melbourne Superkart Centre will have Superkarts on display regularly too, so people can see what they look like up close and there will always be karts in the showroom ready for sale. We also have information from the Victorian Superkart Club including contact details so prospective Superkarters can join up and arrange their CAMS licenses.
Superkart racing is conducted all around Australia at tracks like Phillip Island, Sandown, Mallala, Eastern Creek and Winton. The karts reach speeds in excess of 220 kph and have amazing braking performance and grip levels.
